Sewing Classes and Workshops in South Dublin, Ireland

I’ve been teaching in Dublin since 2010, working in both secondary schools and evening education. Teaching has always been something I genuinely love. The best part is helping people learn, grow in confidence, discover new skills and have those “I can do this!” moments.

My sewing story started back in 2013 with something very ordinary: I wanted to take up a pair of trousers by hand because I didn’t own a sewing machine. That tiny, practical task ended up sparking a whole new passion.

​

By 2021, I had graduated as a Fashion Designer, following my curiosity to learn more about sewing, from techniques and pattern drafting to garment construction. What I didn’t expect was how quickly this would turn into my career after graduating.

​

Now I get to bring together the two things I love most: teaching and sewing. I really enjoy sharing my time and experience with my students. Building a friendly, welcoming community is a big part of what I do.

My classes are, of course, about sewing but also about chatting, creating, learning together and having a good time along the way.
